As announced by the Malaysia’s Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday 11 January 2021 that a lockdown will be in place for two weeks from 13 to 26 January 2021, amid the ongoing government effort to contain the spread of coronavirus infections in the country.
As practice currently, ROC Unit will continue the necessary measures and arrangement internally to avoid any business interruption and in the same ensuring regulatory compliance is met during the 14-day MCO as announced by the government.
ROC counter is closed during the MCO period, hence the entire ROC Unit will be operating in the basis of work-from-home (WFH) under the normal working hours to ensure business services remain unimpeded.
Please be informed that other services like third party company search at the counter, Certified True Copy of documents and ROC’s pigeon hole are not accessible during this period, nevertheless an alternative method for such service would be arranged by our ROC officer in-charge prior to the request depending on its urgency of business case.
ROC Unit also would like to advise all trust companies, auditors and liquidators to make the payment via COR@L application portal or LEPAY payment gateway for any other relevant applications. In case of compliance difficulties, approaches should be made promptly to ROC Unit as early as practicable.
